Lennon was the captain of the club's minor football team which won the Laois Minor Football Championship 'B' final in 2005, beating Camross 2-3 to 1-4 in the final. hailed Jay Stein Jay Stein is the retired president of Universal Studios Tour. He began in the mail room at Universal Studios, conceived the idea of the tour attraction, and in 1962 convinced studio brass his idea was worth pursuing. after his piece of magic gave them their first league win of the season. Stein (below) struck the only goal of a tight match in 23 minutes when he took a knockdown from Jon Robertson to turn and fire a 22-yard shot into the top corner of the net. Lennon said: "It was a great goal to win it. We are delighted to get our first three points from a match where there were not a lot of chances." Cowden came close to adding a second when Paul McQuade's shot was well saved by Callum Reidford. Clyde's best chance came when Willie McLachlan's free-kick was stopped by David Hay
