Danish Software Developer, Danware, Selects Microsoft Veteran Vargovchik to Head Up New U.S. Subsidiary in Chicago; First Priority Will Be Expanding Strong Partner Network for Danware's Popular NetOp Product Line.

CHICAGO -- Danish software developer Danware A/S today announced it has selected Jason Vargovchik to head up its new U.S. subsidiary, NetOp Technologies, based in Chicago. As the country manager in the United States, Vargovchik will be tasked with managing the new subsidiary and building a strong partner channel for Danware's popular NetOp product line including remote control, classroom teaching, computer security and Internet filtering software.

Vargovchik brings a 10-year background in software sales and channel management and development to his new position with Danware. Most recently he served as regional manager for Microsoft, responsible for sales for the company's award-winning business management suite, Axapta. While there he also assisted in the development and the aggressive growth of the Microsoft sales channel. Vargovchik went to Microsoft from the Danish developer of Axapta, Navision, where through successful implementation of a world class partner channel, he helped to raise the sales and visibility of the company which was then purchased by Microsoft.

Danware is looking to grow its existing NetOp partners and customer base in the U.S. aggressively and Vargovchik's background is well suited for leading this effort, according to Peter Grondahl, chief executive officer for Danware A/S.

"We already have more than a half a million NetOp users in the U.S. and a strong group of more than 1,000 NetOp partners," he said. "Jason has the skills we need to take that strong customer base, the NetOp partner base and strengthen it through growth programs."

NetOp Technologies is offering a new competitive NetOp growth program for U.S. and Canadian partners. Working directly with the partners NetOp Technologies will identify growth opportunities, cooperate on marketing activities, provide training and fully localized customer support.
