Danis Building Construction Company announces its sponsorship of two Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra performances this coming weekend - Friday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. and Saturday, March 23 at 8:00 p.m. at Cincinnati's famed Music Hall. The concerts include two of Igor Stravinsky's most colorful works, the spectacular Firebird Suite and the witty A Card Game ("Jeu de Cartes"). In addition, internationally renowned soloist Mihaela Ursuleasa will join Paavo Jarvi and the CSO with her interpretation of Mozart's sophisticated Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor. The weekend represents another landmark event for Maestro Jarvi's first season with the CSO. The orchestra will record both Stravinsky works for Telarc, the Grammy-winning label long associated with the orchestra. Their first recording together (featuring Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique) drew wide critical acclaim.
