Jim Flowers is a licensed counselor who provides equine-assisted psychotherapy to people who come to Daniels Horse Center. Susan Flowers has more than 23 years of experience with assisting handicapped individuals. The Flowerses are in the process of building a facility for handicapped horse riders. Daniels will work in cooperation with the couple by offering horse riding and training lessons for handicapped riders at the new building.

Before the new building can be used by the handicapped horse riders, the building has to meet certain codes and standards.

Daniels is the only employee at Daniels Horse Center. One of her goals is to bridge the gap between people who can afford horse training and riding lessons and those who can't.

"I want to make riding and training affordable for people who don't have a lot of money," Daniels said.
