Daniel Shimoff Joins Demantra as Vice President of Research and Development.

Demantra, a provider of marketing and supply chain planning solutions, named Daniel Shimoff as vice president of research and development. As a core member of the original start-up team, he helped develop the new technology that propelled PictureVision to its ultimate acquisition by Eastman Kodak. Previously, Shimoff led development teams at Fundtech, Ltd., and headed project development teams at two major Wall Street firms: Drexel Burnham Lambert Drexel Burnham Lambert was a major Wall Street investment banking firm, which first rose to prominence and then was driven into bankruptcy in the 1980s by its involvement in illegal activities in the junk bond market, driven by Drexel employee Michael Milken. , Inc. and Tudor Investment Corporation.
