Daniel Liebermann Joins Reznick Group's Valuation and Transaction Advisory Group.

Expands National Real Estate and Tangible Asset Appraisal Practice

BETHESDA, Md. -- Reznick Group today announced that Daniel A. Liebermann, has joined the firm as a manager in the firm's Valuation and Transaction Advisory Group (VTAG). Based in Reznick Group's Bethesda, Md. headquarters, Liebermann will expand the firm's national real estate and tangible asset appraisal practice.

"The addition of Dan Liebermann to our VTAG practice significantly enhances our appraisal services for a wide range of real estate clients. We are eager to put Dan's expertise and experience to work for our clients," said Brent Solomon, Reznick Group's National VTAG Practice Leader.

According to Solomon, Liebermann will serve a broad base of clients including public and private equity funds, pensions, REITs, developers and lenders. Liebermann will focus on appraisal, appraisal review and appraisal consulting services for financial reporting (FAS 141R, FAS 144 and FAS 157), acquisitions, debt and equity financing, buy/sell, estate/income tax purposes, litigation support, and strategic planning.

Liebermann joins Reznick Group from CB Richard Ellis, Inc. Valuation & Advisory Services in McLean, Va., where he was a senior appraiser. Prior to this, he held a variety of positions in commercial real estate appraisal, corporate finance and investment management. Liebermann's valuation experience includes institutional portfolio and property-level appraisal/consulting assignments for all major property classes including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, special-purpose, mixed-use and vacant land.

Liebermann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate finance from San Diego State University. He is a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and a Level III Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) program. He holds active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licenses in the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland.
