To this day we still do a fair amount of slipper business and we are positioned as the leading women's slipper brand out there. This past year though, we completed two acquisitions which changed the focus and breadth of the company considerably. The first one of those was acquiring a brand by the name of L.B. Evans. It is the leading men's slipper brand and doubled the size of our slipper business. Immediately after that, we were able to acquire a company by the name of Penobscot." Riedman explains "Soft Walk is a new brand that we've introduced. It is a product that is competing with the European comfort fit brands. It is being very well received in its first year and we're seeing a very strong acceptance at both the retail level as well as the consumers themselves. It has the potential to fuel our growth significantly." Looking forward, Riedman states, "We are very encouraged about our prospects for this coming year.
