Daniel E. Gold Joins Board of Directors of Entercom Communications Corp.

Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE:ETM) today announced that Daniel Gold has joined its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Joseph M. Field, Entercom's Chairman said, "Daniel Gold brings a wealth of business experience, broadcasting expertise and overall leadership credentials to our Board and we look forward to his contributions to Entercom."

Daniel E. Gold currently is a Director of Data Harbor, Inc., a medical software developer, President and CEO of Leonard Whitcup, Inc., a music publisher, and a general partner of Gold-Maizels, LP, a commercial real estate company. During his 40-year career he has served as Chairman and Director of Dynamic Broadband, Inc., CEO of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), President and Director of Century Communications Inc., President of Knight Ridder Broadcasting, Inc., and President of Comcast Cable, Inc. He also served as a Vice President and General Manager of CBS and Post-Newsweek Stations' radio and television stations in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, PA, and Hartford, Conn. He was the General Counsel of Westinghouse Broadcasting Company (Group W). He was a member of the Boards of Directors of the National Association of Broadcasters, the National Cable Television Association, the Television Bureau of Advertising and C-SPAN. Mr. Gold has a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
