Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) refers to a group of inherited disorders that slowly lead to blindness due to abnormalities of the photoreceptors (primarily the rods) in the retina.

Daniel will return to school where he hopes to study Geography, Physics and Chemistry at A level.

Over 20% of his school's grades were A/A* with 11 students gaining 109 straight A/A* between them.
