Danger road claims another crash victim.


A woman has died in a two-car crash on a notorious road in heavy rain.

Police said the smash happened when the woman's Vauxhall Astra collided with a powerful Subaru Impreza estate on the A465 Heads of the Valleys Road at Merthyr Tydfil.

The driver of the blue Subaru and two passengers from the black Astra were treated at the town's Prince Charles Hospital An NHS district hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. It opened in 1978. External links

The stretch between Cefn Coed and the Baverstock Hotel was closed for several hours while accident investigators carried out a fingertip search and gathered evidence.
