Charlene Montgomery, 20, was hit by an out-of-control car near her home in Greenock last Saturday. Doctorssaidonlyhertightjeans helped hold her leg together. And after gruelling ops, they managed to reattach Re`at`tach´ v. t. 1. To attach again. the limb. Charlene - who harboured hopes of becoming a dance teacher - was found by her dad, offshore worker James, 48, who said last night: "It's something that will haunt me forever. "Shewasscreamingthatherleg was off and she could feel blood pouring out and she said, 'Please don't let me die,dad'." Mum Linda, a nurse, said: "Dancing was her absolute life. It's so tragic."
