DanceStar USA The American Dance Music Awards is set for Wednesday March 19th on the sands of South Beach, Miami and has today announced its nominations for the second annual music awards show.

Madonna, J-Lo and Justin Timberlake capture the spotlight this year, each with nominations for 'Best Chart Act' and 'Best Remix'. Dirty Vegas, Paul Oakenfold and DJ Sammy

DJ Sammy (born Samuel Bouriah, 29 October 1969, Majorca, Spain) is a dance music DJ. He has had four Top 10 hits in the United Kingdom.
 are also set to dominate the awards show after having been nominated for multiple awards. Dirty Vegas receives five award category nominations including 'Record of the Year' and 'Best Album' while Spain's DJ Sammy also scoops three. Paul Oakenfold, an original architect of the dance scene, has also been nominated in four categories including 'Best International DJ' and 'Best Act'.

Over 1 million consumers and are expected to vote online commencing February 1st via Dancestar.com. Tickets will also go on sale nationwide from February 1st through Ticketmaster and Groovetickets. The show's host, featured presenters and performances together with television broadcast details will be announced shortly.

A further ten award categories have been added to this year's show including 'Best Use of Music in a Commercial', 'Best New Artist Album' and 'Best Celebrity DJ' for which Wesley Snipes Snipes (Diminutive for Snipers) is a text-mode networked computer game that was created in 1983 by SuperSet software. Snipes is officially credited as being the original inspiration for Novell NetWare.  receives a nomination. A total of twenty-six award categories are featured in this year's show compared to sixteen in last year's inaugural ceremony, highlighting the expansion and increased recognition of dance music in the U.S.
