Fairy tales may be written or told for the amusement of children or may have a more sophisticated narrative containing supernatural or obviously improbable events, scenes, and personages comes to the Hult Center stage this weekend as Dance Theatre of Oregon presents "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves dwarves n. A plural of dwarf. ." The performance, geared for both children and adults, also will include two other dance works, "Grandiloquence gran·dil·o·quence n. Pompous or bombastic speech or expression. Before ``Snow White'' comes on in the second half of the program, DTO will perform David Parsons' "Sleep Study" and "Grandiloquence Undone," choreographed by Pamela Lehan-Siegel to W.A. Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4 in E-flat Major. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" is directed and choreographed by Lehan-Siegel and Siegel with costume design Costume design is the design of the appearance of the characters in a theater or cinema performance. This usually involves designing or choosing clothing, footwear, hats and head dresses for the actors to wear, but it may also include designing masks, makeup or other unusual forms, by Richelle Rudeen and lighting by Phil McBeth.
