Dance student Angela a 'true inspiration'.


AN ERDINGTON Coordinates:  Erdington is an area five miles northeast of Birmingham city centre, England. It is also a council constituency, managed by its own district committee.  Bollywood dance club has honoured one of its students after she became a dancing star in her own right.

Angela Whitehead, aged 53, has won the Student of the Year award for the second year running at Hina and Company Bollywood dance classes.

She started dancing as a way to keep fit but quickly gained a reputation as a great dancer and is now performing her Bollywood moves on TV.

Teacher Hina Chavda said: "Angela has won Student of the year 2007 and 2008 along with being the dance student with outstanding attendance.

"She has performed at many prestigious events namely The Mega Mela at the NEC (NEC Corporation, Tokyo, www.nec.com, www.necus.com) An electronics conglomerate known in the U.S. for its monitors. In Japan, it had the lion's share of the PC market until the late 1990s (see PC 98).

NEC was founded in Tokyo in 1899 as Nippon Electric Company, Ltd.
 for a number of years and Arts Fest, The Destination Show, Asian Spring along with TV and film work.

She added: "She is a true inspiration and a great role model to all women."

She said: "It is a fantastic way to keep fit and it is great fun learning all the Bollywood moves."
