Dance project is a healthy opportunity.


CHAMPION breakdancers are set to provide inspiration to youngsters taking part in a Middlesbrough dance project.

Youth Dance Middlesbrough is a project aimed at getting young people active through dance.

Bad Taste Cru, the UK breakdance champions, will be performing and leading workshops at a launch event from 2.30-4.30pm on Saturday, September 26 in Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt crypt (krĭpt) [Gr.,=hidden], vault or chamber beneath the main level of a church, used as a meeting place or burial place. It undoubtedly developed from the catacombs used by early Christians as places of worship. .

The youth dance project is part of the Healthy Towns initiative which offers affordable dance activity in five venues across Middlesbrough. The programme aims to engage more than 2,500 young people aged eight to 24 years and runs until March 2011.

 Chapman said: "Dancing is a great way for people to express themselves, enjoy life and make friends as well as keeping them fit.

"Unlike many exercise classes which work on specific parts of the body, dancing is an excellent way to achieve all-round fitness."
