Dance Theater Workshop. (Teachers and Schools).DANCE THEATER The German Tanztheater ("dance theatre") grew out of German expressionist dance. Its most influential performers are Pina Bausch and Susanne Linke. WORKSHOP's Public Imaginations community program, Family Matters, features a series of variety-style showcases. David Dorfman Dance, Jody Sperling's TimeLapse Dance, Rachel Garniez, Cary Baker, and Catherine Gallant's P.S. 89 Dance Group performed in October, and upcoming artists include Wire Monkey monkey, any of a large and varied group of mammals of the primate order. The term monkey includes all primates that do not belong to the categories human, ape, or prosimian; however, monkeys do have certain common features.
