Here are the highlights from the Featured Expert column:

There is certainly a great deal to worry about, but in the meantime Adv. 1. in the meantime - during the intervening time; "meanwhile I will not think about the problem"; "meantime he was attentive to his other interests"; "in the meantime the police were notified"
meantime, meanwhile
, the stock market, which discounts current events as it looks to the future, is giving a fairly good account of itself. There are many problems to be sure, but as Dan Sullivan has pointed out before, this is the way it always is at pivotal turning points. Many of this century's greatest bull markets have started when the investment climate has looked the bleakest.

Janus Olympus (OTC:JAOLX): There's no denying that the bear market wreaked havoc on the fund's performance. As a result, fund manager, Claire Young substantially reduced her technology exposure and diversified diversified (di·verˑ·s  into less volatile sectors. Her emphasis now is stocks with strong cash flows and strong balance sheets that will benefit from a reinvigorated re·in·vig·o·rate

Pin Oak Aggressive Stock (OTC:POGSX): Pin Oak concentrates its bets. Lead manager, Tim Oelschlager usually invests in 25 or fewer stocks. He primarily invests in U.S. companies with small to medium market capitalization Market Capitalization

A measure of a public company's size. Market capitalization is the total dollar value of all outstanding shares. It's calculated by multiplying the number of shares times the current market price. This term is often referred to as market cap.
(between $500 million and $5 billion) that he thinks have above average growth potential at attractive prices. His strategy is to let the winners run, and not sell a good company just because it grows past a certain size. The result has been long-term holdings that were purchased as small or mid-caps but has grown to the large-cap range.

TCW Galileo Aggressive Growth (OTC:TGANX): Despite being beaten up in the bear market, TCW adheres to its discipline of owning aggressive stocks. While many growth managers have abandoned technology stocks, lead manager, Doug Foreman remains committed to them. A significant portion of the portfolio (about 50%) is currently invested in the tech sector. As one would expect his strategy has resulted in wild swings. It is convinced, though as it states in its fourth quarter report that: "aggressive growth stocks will be one of the most attractive asset classes over the next market cycle."
