Dan Hoffman Joins Hogan & Hartson; Hoffman Brings High-Profile Practice to International Firm.

DENVER -- Dan Hoffman, one of Colorado's leading trial lawyers and long considered a dean of the civil trial bar in the Rocky Mountain region, is joining Hogan & Hartson's Denver office.

Hoffman's high-profile career spans more than 40 years. He served as co-counsel on merger and antitrust matters for the American Basketball Association (ABA) in its merger with the National Basketball Association and was lead trial co-counsel for The Gates Corporation in a theft of trade secrets suit against Bando Chemical Industries. He has been the arbitrator of numerous cases, including those involving the United States Olympic Committee. He has also worked on behalf of Lockheed Martin, StorageTek and General Electric.

Hoffman is Dean Emeritus and Professor Emeritus of the University of Denver College of Law, where he served as Dean from 1978 to 1984. He is also the only person to have served as president of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and as State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
