Allen recently completed his eighth season at the helm of the Holy Cross football program. During his career he engineered superb program turnarounds with the Crusaders and at Boston University, where he coached from 1990 to 1995. Dan's overall record in 14 years as a head coach is 61 wins and 97 losses. At Boston University, Dan guided the team to its two best back-to-back seasons, posting a 21-4 mark in 1993-94. In 1993, BU's only unbeaten season, the Terriers rebounded from a 3-8 campaign to go 11-0 and advance to the second round of the NCAA NCAA abbr. National Collegiate Athletic Association playoffs.
