Damian M. Kozlowski Named Global CEO of The Citigroup Private Bank and Member of Citigroup's Management Committee.

NEW YORK -- Todd S. Thomson, CEO of Citigroup's Global Wealth Management division, has named Damian M. Kozlowski as Chief Executive Officer for The Citigroup Private Bank (CPB). Mr. Kozlowski will also join the Citigroup Management Committee. The CPB is one of the three businesses that comprise Global Wealth Management and is one of the leading private banks in the world. Mr. Kozlowski has been President of the U.S. Region of The Citigroup Private Bank since November 2002. He will continue to oversee the U.S. Region until further notice, and the GWM Regional CEOs in Asia, Europe and Latin America will report to Mr. Kozlowski for private banking activities.

As President of the U.S. Region, Mr. Kozlowski rapidly built the premier private bank in the U.S. by customizing and integrating products that fulfill the financial needs of core segments of clients including entrepreneurs, real estate developers, financial sponsors and law firms. He previously served as the Private Bank's Chief Operating Officer globally where he was responsible for managing all global operating activities and unifying and improving the Private Bank's open-architecture platform.

Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Kozlowski gained extensive experience in the financial services industry in strategy consulting, mergers and acquisitions and new business development. Most recently, he was the Managing Director at Banc of America Securities where he created strategies to grow and reposition its investment banking businesses.

Mr. Kozlowski holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an MS from Boston University.
