Dallas Family Wins TXU Energy's Good for Texas Sweepstakes.

Campaign Focused on Helping Customers Use Less Electricity

 Energy announced that the Dallas family is the grand prize winner of the company's Good for Texas Sweepstakes sweepstakes, contest or race, usually a horse race, on which a lottery is run. Prizes are awarded to the holders of winning tickets. In the case of a horse race, the draw is made from the names of all the horses entered in the race and vast numbers of blanks. .

The 12-week campaign focused on how consumers can use less energy to save on their bills and help the environment at the same time. Nearly 200,000 Texans entered the Good for Texas Sweepstakes.

"My car is 13 years old, has 167,000 miles, has hail damage and the rear bumper is bent down from where someone hit me and drove off," said financial consultant Brad Stansberry. "It is a blessing and a gift to be receiving this prize."

There were also weekly and daily winners. Weekly prize winners received either a $500 bill credit from TXU Energy or a $575 Lowe's Gift Card. Daily prize winners received a 10-pack of compact fluorescent fluorescent
