Dallas/IABC To Recognize ``Works of Art'' and Special Communicator.Business Editors DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2001 Dallas/IABC gives business communicators the chance to display their communications creativity and nominate nom·i·nate tr.v. nom·i·nat·ed, nom·i·nat·ing, nom·i·nates 1. To propose by name as a candidate, especially for election. 2. To designate or appoint to an office, responsibility, or honor. a Communicator of the Year (COTY Co·ty , René 1882-1962. This year, the awards will recognize communications excellence in 10 categories including community/government relations, media relations, marketing/branding communication, special events, issues management, investor/shareholder, internal/employee relations, benefits, individual works and student works. Professional communicators from IABC IABC International Association of Business Communicators IABC Indo-Americans for Better Community chapters around the world will judge entries. Judges will focus on objectives, concepts, execution and measurable results. Entries for nomination of a Bronze Quill Award should follow entry guidelines guidelines, n.pl a set of standards, criteria, or specifications to be used or followed in the performance of certain tasks. and be submitted no later than Friday, March 2, 2001. COTY nomination deadlines should be submitted no later than Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001. The Bronze Quill Awards Dinner and Ceremony is scheduled for the evening of May 2, 2001 at the Richardson Civic Center (southwest corner of Arapaho Road and US 75). Cocktails and entry viewing will begin at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m., followed by the awards program and COTY presentation.
