Daley called up for Wales.
Wales women fly to Portugal on Wednesday and the Bluebirds have two players in the squad as Daley is joined by club captain Caroline Cooper.
Emma Meredith, another City 16-year-old, is on standby to play in the international tournament.
Daley has been one of the young players instrumental in Cardiff City's success this season.
Club secretary Karen Jones said:
"Katie is a popular player at Cardiff City with a very bright future ahead of her.
"It's hard to believe she was playing junior football this time last year. We are all delighted for her.
"She is only one of a number of talented players emerging from our successful junior development programme.
"After our relegation battle last season people thought we would struggle to return to the top flight, but the progress made this season was evident by our performance last week against Barry Town.
"They are a Premier League outfit and we were unlucky to go down 1-0. With the full support of Cardiff City owner Sam Hammam we are enjoying the benefits of being attached to a professional outfit.
"This is giving us the added drive for success."
YOUNG TALENT Katie Daley.
