Common European sport fish (Rutilus rutilus) of the carp family (Cyprinidae), found in lakes and slow rivers. A high-backed, yellowish green fish with red eyes and reddish fins, the roach is 6–16 in.
 Foods Ltd, have announced that they have joined forces by forming a new holding company, Flagship Foods.

Whilst the two businesses will continue to trade separately, Flagship Foods, with combined sales of some [pounds]270m., will become the second largest supplier of pork pork, flesh of swine prepared as food, one of the principal commodities of the meatpacking industry. Pork has long been a staple food in most of the world, although religious taboos have limited its use, especially among Jews and Muslims. , bacon and cooked meats to UK supermarkets.

Tony Ambler is the chairman of Flagship Foods and Dalehead, and Graham Roach is Flagship Foods' chief executive and remains chairman of Roach Foods. John Hughes
