Daleen Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:DALN), a global provider of software that manages the revenue chain for next-generation service providers, today announced that Terremark Worldwide Inc. (AMEX:TWW), a global leader in providing Internet infrastructure and managed services, has selected Daleen's RevChain(tm) software to provide the billing and customer care platform for the NAP of the Americas(sm), located in Miami.

Terremark is the owner and operator of the NAP of Americas, which is the only tier-one Network Access Point (NAP) that is "carrier neutral" and the only one supported by a consortium of more than 100 telecommunications industry leaders. A NAP is a point of access into the Internet where telecommunications carriers interconnect networks to facilitate the global exchange of Internet traffic.

To date, there are only four other tier-one NAPs in the United States located in New York, Washington, San Francisco and Chicago -- all initially constructed by the National Science Foundation. The NAP of the Americas in downtown Miami, the only one built without government aid, will support Internet traffic among Latin America, the United States, the Caribbean and Europe. The NAP's customers will include regional and global carriers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs), Application Service Providers (ASPs) and Florida educational institutions.

The Daleen RevChain solution will enable Terremark to automate and manage its revenue chain, incorporating convergent billing, electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), and customer and service management into one integrated process. The scalability derived from Daleen's pure Internet architecture will facilitate the universal access, customer management and billing capabilities necessary to support the NAP's multifaceted customers.
