Daleen Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:DALN), a global provider of high performance billing and customer care software solutions that manage the revenue chain, today announced it has joined the Juniper Networks IP Operations Support Systems Alliance (IOA). The companies will offer a pre-engineered intelligent IP billing solution that gives service providers and carriers a competitive advantage in their ability to deploy proactive Quality of Service (QoS) billing in the metro and regional markets, and destination-sensitive billing among long-haul optical service providers.

To support its alliance with Juniper, Daleen will install RevChain(TM) Commerce in Juniper's Proof of Concept (POC) lab, where customers can participate in live demonstrations of integrated network management solutions such as provisioning and billing. Juniper also uses the POC for training its field sales force as well as inviting its partners to conduct product testing top aid in the development of new features and enhancements.

As a billing partner in Juniper Networks IOA, Daleen offers a number of advanced billing functionalities that enable optical service providers and carriers to fully realize the revenue potential of their local, regional and long-haul networks. Daleen's RevChain Commerce application takes network performance and destination data gathered by Juniper Networks' M series Internet routers and uses it to rate and bill for highly granular network service packages.
