Daleen Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:DALN), a global provider of high performance billing and customer care software solutions that manage the revenue chain, today announced that it has expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific market, an important milestone in the company's growth strategy to broaden its customer base geographically in order to serve tier-one accounts worldwide.

Daleen has established an Australian subsidiary located in Sydney, Daleen Australia Pty Ltd PTY LTD Propriety Limited (company structure in Australia) ., that is dedicated to supporting existing and potential customers in the region. The company plans to market its RevChain(TM) solution to carriers and service providers both directly through its local Australian sales team and together with partners, including Telcordia Technologies Telcordia Technologies, formerly Bell Communications Research, Inc. or Bellcore, is a telecommunications research and development (R&D) company based in the United States and created on January 1 1984 as part of the 1982 Modification of Final Judgment that broke up  Inc.

Telcordia licensed Daleen's RevChain Select billing and customer care product as part of an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  agreement announced in July, and offers the software as part of their Telcordia Next Generation Billing Manager platform. Daleen and Telcordia are currently working together to implement this new solution, which will allow AAPT to more effectively manage its customers and drive additional revenue.

"Daleen's RevChain product and Internet Integration Architecture are ideally suited for large service providers, especially those offering a variety of convergent voice, data, and IP-based services. Daleen has shown that RevChain can deliver the proven scalability and performance needed to handle large volumes of complex usage records in an efficient manner to ultimately drive additional revenues, and higher customer satisfaction," said Paul Hughes Paul Hughes (born 19 April 1976 in Hammersmith) is a retired English footballer who played in midfield.

The Daleen RevChain product line enables providers to quickly deploy and bill for complex service offerings by supporting sophisticated rating and billing schemes, including QoS and destination sensitive billing. Its future-proof design and flexibility makes it easy to integrate with providers' legacy systems and maximize their return on investment. Daleen's billing system was recently ranked No. 1 in overall customer satisfaction in an annual report issued by a leading U.K.-based management consultancy, Chorleywood Consulting Ltd., which surveyed the customers of 12 billing software vendors around the world.

"We are very pleased to work with Telcordia on the AAPT deal, which is an excellent example of our partner strategy in action," said James Daleen, chairman and chief executive officer for Daleen. "Our expansion into the Asia-Pacific region supports our business model of customer-driven growth and will help us achieve the financial objectives we have been working toward."

Like all sizable telecommunications carriers, those in the Asia-Pacific market must move away from closed and technologically limited billing systems in order to effectively manage their businesses and continue to grow. RevChain leverages open Internet technologies to provide unmatched ease of integration and performance, enabling carriers to minimize expenses while unlocking revenue from new and existing customers. The company's focus on providing outstanding support and value to its customers, as reflected by the Chorleywood report, should provide a strong competitive differentiator as it moves into this new market.

"We've been very impressed with the response to our product from large carriers like AAPT, who must balance their investment in legacy systems with the need to improve efficiency and support new services," said David McTarnaghan, senior vice president of sales for Daleen. "The strategy that AAPT is executing, to add an open, high performance system to support a growing part of their organization will allow them to continue to achieve their growth and operational goals with no disruption to the organization."
