The announcement comes just six weeks after Daleen's acquisition of Inlogic. The new program, entitled webSTART, is designed for communications and information service providers who need a fast path to Web-enable their customer management and billing systems. The webSTART program debuted at the Telestrategies OSS 2000 show in Orlando, Florida.

The webSTART promotion is based on components of Daleen's E-Care(TM) product line. It includes E-Catalog, which supports the creation of a multimedia product and service catalog, and EBP for online bill presentment. Designed for the unique needs of telecommunications' environments, E-Care lets the subscriber browse, select, and activate services in real-time, as well as view bills and billing information.

WebSTART can integrate with any existing billing and customer management system within a service provider's environment. The initial offering is based on BillPlex(R), Daleen's convergent customer management and billing software.
