Dale Vincent appointed senior vice president-corporate solutions At St. Paul Financial Solutions.

 Companies, has been named senior vice president-corporate solutions at St. Paul Financial Solutions, the unit formed to lead the company's efforts with clients who seek broadened, "non-traditional" risk management solutions incorporating financial and other risks with traditional insurance or reinsurance The contract made between an insurance company and a third party to protect the insurance company from losses. The contract provides for the third party to pay for the loss sustained by the insurance company when the company makes a payment on the original contract. .

In his new position, Vincent is responsible for structuring, underwriting and pricing such "alternative risk transfer" programs for corporate clients of The St. Paul.

"In his previous position at St. Paul Re's Sydney, Australia office, Dale was active in developing and marketing customized risk programs for both insurance and reinsurance clients in that country," said Senior Vice President Peter Gakos, who heads the Corporate Solutions unit. "That experience will benefit corporate clients of The St. Paul.

Vincent began his career in 1986 in The St. Paul's Corporate Actuarial Department. He held actuarial positions with St. Paul Re, The St. Paul's reinsurance operation, in London beginning in 1990 and, the following year, at the reinsurer's New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 headquarters.

From 1992 to 1995 he was a pricing actuary in The St. Paul's Medical Services Division (now St. Paul Global Health Care), which underwrites medical liability coverage for health care professionals and institutions. He became pricing actuary in the Brussels, Belgium office of St. Paul Re in 1995, and in 1997 was named a vice president in Sydney where he was responsible for the pricing of business written from that office as well as the Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov.  and Singapore offices of St. Paul Re.

Vincent hold's a bachelor's degree from the College of St. Thomas and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is a professional society of actuaries. Its members are mainly involved in the property and casualty areas of the actuarial profession. .
