Dale "Geoffrey" Edwards, 54.


MILLBURY Dale "Geoffrey" Edwards, 54, of Millbury, MA and formerly of East Woodstock, CT, passed away on October 22, 2008. Geoffrey was born December 12, 1954 in Putnam, son of Francis "Howard" and Pauline Edwards of East Woodstock and Alma Rose of Ridgefield Park Ridgefield Park, village (1990 pop. 12,454), Bergen co., NE N.J., on the Hackensack River; inc. 1892. Chiefly residential, it manufactures some paper goods. , NJ. Geoffrey married Jeri McIntosh in Virginia in 1986. Geoffrey worked in the computer field most of his life. He grew up in East Woodstock and graduated from Woodstock Academy. He had made his home in Virginia and California before moving to Millbury several years ago.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Edwards of East Woodstock; three brothers Walter Edwards Walter Edwards is the name of several notable individuals:
  • Walter Alison Edwards (1862–1924), president of the California Institute of Technology
  • Walter Atlee Edwards (1886–1928), United States Navy officer and Medal of Honor recipient
 and his companion Holly of Putnam; Dennis Edwards Dennis Edwards (born February 3, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama) is an American soul and R&B singer, most noted for being one of Motown act The Temptations' lead singers.  of CT; Wayne Edwards

Wayne Edwards (born June 23, 1967) in Shepherdsville, Kentucky) is a part time racer in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He currently works for Green Light Racing as a driver and crew member.
 and his companion Denise of Putnam; a sister Sherry Engh and her husband Peter of East Woodstock; Step-brothers; Step-sister; half-sister, half-brother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held November 22, 2008 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM at the East Woodstock Congregational Church, 220 Woodstock Road, East Woodstock, Ct. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association American Heart Association (AHA),
