SUE Smith puts all her eggs in one basket today with all her three runners at Doncaster contesting the same prize.

In the Doncaster Racecourse Sponsorship Handicap Chase, the Bingley trainer has snapped up Sam Thomas for Crozan, Henry Oliver takes the ride on Ela Re, while the stable's talented conditional jockey Tjade Collier partners the lightly-weighted Daldini.

I am interested in Daldini who carries the well known colours of Paul Dixon at his local track and, while the six-year-old's form figures so far this season don't make the best of reading, there are good reasons for thinking that he can leave them well behind here.

Daldini has done all his winning over two miles, once over hurdles and twice over fences, but his lack of recent success has resulted in his rating being dropped 7lb since the start of the campaign.

Although the gelding hasn't made the frame in four starts this term, to be fair to him he has run well to a point.

Stamina seems to have been the problem on his last two appearances as he stepped up to three miles and I think he will appreciate this drop back in trip.

Crozan has joined Smith from Nicky Henderson and is high enough in the handicap for a horse that has only won a novices' chase since arriving from France.

The handicapper has relented a little by dropping him 5lb. As for the stable's other hope Ela Re, he has been a good servant to the yard and added another couple of wins to his imposing tally last term, but the assessor may have his measure for the time being.

A last fence blunder cost Our Jasper a Ludlow prize last time as he went down by a head to Opera de Coeur and he must be a player now that he has shown a return to form.

Leading Attraction appeared to have ironed out some of his jumping problems when finishing a close third to stablemate Cornish Set in the Badger Ales Trophy at Wincanton.

He is 5lb higher for the Betdaq The Betting Exchange Handicap Chase which may not be to too much of a stumbling block for a potentially smart staying chaser. Conceding a stone to Brave Rebellion could be his biggest task.
