Daktronics to Provide Integrated Video and Scoring `Super System' for Anaheim Angels.

BROOKINGS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 15, 2004

Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAKT) announced today that it will provide an integrated video, scoring and advertising display system at Edison International Edison International (NYSE: EIX) is a public utility holding company based in Rosemead, California. Its subsidiaries include Southern California Edison, and un-regulated non-utility assets Edison Mission Energy, a power producer, and Edison Capital.  Field, home of Major League Baseball's Anaheim Angels. The value of the contract is approximately $6.5 million for equipment and installation, with installation scheduled to be complete prior to the Angels' first home game on April 3, 2004.

The integrated system will provide entertaining video images on two large outfield displays with additional stats and information to be presented on six other full-color light emitting diode See LED.  (LED) displays throughout the ballpark. All of the displays will use Daktronics ProStar(R) and ProAd(R) technology with pixels See pixel.  on 23 mm (.90") center-to-center spacing. The contract also includes numerous rotating ro·tate

Main Scoreboard - Right Field

The right field scoreboard will be upgraded with three new electronic displays and new rotating and static advertising panels. The large ProStar(R) display in the center of the existing structure will measure approximately 42 feet high by 67 feet wide (528 pixels by 880 pixels). Two auxiliary LED displays will be located on each side of the large video display and measure approximately 12 feet high by 50 feet wide (144 pixels by 656 pixels).

Auxiliary Video Display - Left Field

A new structure in left field will include a second large ProStar(R) video display. Dubbed dub 1

Outfield Wall Display - Right Field

A large full-color LED display will be incorporated into the right field fence to be used for presenting out- of-town game scores, stats and other information. This display will measure approximately six feet high by 94 feet wide (80 pixels by 1,248 pixels).

Two of the displays will measure approximately four feet high by 170 feet wide (48 pixels by 2,256 pixels). The Home Plate display will measure approximately four feet by 60 feet wide (48 pixels by 800 pixels).
