Company to Purchase Building and Offer Jobs to Employees of Emerson Electric Company Emerson Electric Company NYSE: EMR was established in 1890 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, by the brothers Charles and Alexander Meston along with the principal investor: John Wesley Emerson. The Company's Galaxy([R]) line consists of monochrome Also called "mono." The first terminals connected to mainframes and minicomputers were monochrome, and monochrome screens were widely used on early  and full-color displays designed for on-premise advertising, typically in front of retail businesses. The product manufactured in Redwood Falls will generate approximately ten percent of the Company's revenues. Moving the Galaxy([R]) display production to Redwood Falls will allow more of the capacity at the Brookings facility to be dedicated to building products for the sports markets.
