The Small Sports Venue Business unit is focused on elementary, junior high and high schools, small colleges, and park and recreation departments. The Live Events business unit is headed by Reece Kurtenbach. Kurtenbach earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University and began his employment at Daktronics in 1991. Hansen, formerly the Vice President of Sports Systems, graduated from South Dakota State University with a bachelors and a masters degree in electrical engineering. Previously Mr. Hansen was responsible for all international business and the sports applications group which managed installations of sophisticated sports systems.
