Daktronics Introduces Galaxy AF-3165 Series Displays With 32k-color Capability.

Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAKT) announces the introduction of Galaxy(R) AF-3165 series displays with the capability to present text, graphics and animation in more than 32,000 shades of Noun 1. shades of - something that reminds you of someone or something; "aren't there shades of 1948 here?"

Daktronics recently shipped its first Galaxy(R) AF-3165 series color display for installation at the Fargodome in Fargo, N.D. The popular Galaxy(R) line of electronic displays by Daktronics is part of an even broader product offering that includes display systems for indoor and outdoor use, from monochrome Also called "mono." Refers to display screens that use one foreground and one background color; for example, black on white, white on black or green on black. The first terminals connected to mainframes and minicomputers were monochrome, and monochrome screens were widely used on early  character-based displays to ProStar(R) large screen video displays with the capability to show video in 4.3 trillion colors. The Galaxy(R) AF-3165 series displays are not intended for use as video displays.
