Daktronics Announces Orders for ProAd Digital Advertising and Information Display Systems.

Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAKT) announced today it has received orders to provide digital, full-color LED (light emitting diode See LED. ) ProAd(R) display systems for the Fleet Center in Boston and the New Orleans Arena Coordinates:

Installation is expected to be completed in October 2002.

ProAd(R) technology will surround fans there with full-color digital imagery, statistics and other information. The display will circle the arena measuring approximately 2'6" high by 870 feet in circumference (24 pixels high by 11,632 pixels wide; pixels on 23 mm spacing). This order was included in the end of the first quarter backlog announced Aug. 21, 2002. Installation is expected to be completed in September 2002.
