Daktronics Acquires European Timing Systems.

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAKT) announced today that it has acquired European Timing Systems (ETS) of Bristol, England. Established in 1987, European Timing Systems is a leading provider of scoreboards and timing systems for cricket, aquatics and rugby in the United Kingdom. The company will operate as Daktronics. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to Seth Hansen, vice president, sports systems for Daktronics, "The acquisition of European Timing Systems is important to our expansion into the European market.
