BROOKINGS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 2002

Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: DAKT), a provider of electronic scoreboards, programmable display systems and video displays, will present at the RedChip Partners(TM) Investor Conference in New York New York, state, United States

 on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002. The presentation, which is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. ET, will include a brief review of the company's past performance and a major emphasis on its future growth prospects.

The conference, which will be held at Grand Hyatt New York, begins with on-site registration at 8 a.m. Corporate presentations are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A schedule of corporate presentation times will be available on www.redchip.com before the conference.
