Dairy Says Court Ruling Opens the Door to Consumer Choice.


PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 1999--

While the ruling was welcome news at Shamrock's Arizona headquarters, company officials emphasized that the real beneficiaries will be California consumers.

"The ruling opens the door to more competition and consumer choice," said Puelz Ocana. "More competition will lower the cost of milk."

Shamrock officials said the company is beginning to make plans to resume offering its milk products in California, and that consumers would benefit from having additional choices.
