* The March 5 edition of Brandweek reports that Dairy Queen Dairy Queen (also known as DQ) is an ice-cream shop and fast-food restaurant franchise based in the United States and founded in 1940.

For many years the franchise's slogan was "We treat you right!" In recent years, it has been changed to "DQ something different.

It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Cartoons for Cartoon Network from 1996 to 1999, and by Cartoon Network Studios from 2001 to 2002. , with about 5,500 U.S. and Canadian DQs offering six Powerpuff premiums throughout April. During that period there will also be two weeks of TV support on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon and two million kids meal premiums supported by in-store signage and customized meal bags.
