"During Bob Stein's 13-year history at Dairy Mart and most recently as its president and chief executive officer, he has shown himself to be a proven leader, spearheading the efforts to substantially improve the company's operating performance while stabilizing the company," stated John W. Everets, a member of the board. "As the company embarks upon its future, the board felt it was important to demonstrate its support of Bob and his management team by naming him to the additional post of chairman."
