 MISHIMATO ELIMINATES HEAVY OIL. Daio Paper, Shikoku-chuo, Japan, said its Mishima Mishima (mē`shēmä), city (1990 pop. 105,418), Shizuoka prefecture, central Honshu, Japan. It is a hot-spring resort, a transportation hub, and a center for dairy processing and mechanical, textile, and paper industries.  mill will stop using heavy oil, except during maintenance. Instead, all fuel will come from biomass resources beginning in 2008. In a similar move, Iwaki-Daio Paper, Iwaki-shi, will install two bio-mass boilers with the objective of eliminating the use of heavy oil at its mill. Construction, which will likely cost Yen 5 billion to Yen 6 billion, will begin once environmental assessments are complete.
