Dain Rauscher's Education Loan Finance Group Expands, Senior Banker Hired in Firm's New York Office.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2001

Dain Rauscher Incorporated has hired Vincent A. Cimino in the firm's New York New York, state, United States

Cimino, who will report to Jeffrey J. Wagner, managing director in charge of Dain Rauscher's education loan finance group, will focus exclusively on providing comprehensive investment banking services to education loan secondary market and lending organizations. He will be responsible for expanding the firm's already significant base of clients in the education loan finance sector, where the firm is currently ranked No. 3 as underwriter and financial advisor in public and private transactions.

Prior to joining Dain Rauscher, Cimino spent 12 years at Salomon Smith Barney Smith Barney is a division of Citigroup Global Capital Markets Inc., a global, full-service financial firm, that provides brokerage, investment banking and asset management services to corporations, governments and individuals around the world. , most recently as a director in its student loan finance group, where he completed over $10 billion of education loan financings on behalf of 16 issuers.
