Automatic Contract Submission Cuts Residual Errors

The ability to automatically transmit contracts to DaimlerChrysler Financial (DCF) prior to signing will save Jim Riehl's Roseville Chrysler Plymouth Jeep, Roseville, Michigan, an estimated $21,000 in residual errors in the coming year, according to Philip Mooney, Business Manager. &uot;If we miss the residual by 2% on a $35,000 car, we could be out $700,&uot; Mooney said. &uot;We deliver 3000 new cars per year so it's not hard to imagine that we might be wrong on 1% of them.&uot;

AutOrigination(R) provides a fast and convenient way to submit contracts to DCF's contract entry system (CES) to ensure they are complete and accurate. The system captures information from the ADP dealer management system and automatically transfers it to the appropriate contract verification fields. It checks the contract for required fields that are incomplete before transmitting it to the CES. Within a few minutes, CES generates a report on the contract that calls out any errors so they can be corrected before signing. The system also makes it possible to send a vehicle identification number (VIN) to CES to receive up-to-the-minute information about current retail and lease programs.
