<strong>Leading indicators to be released</strong><br />The conference board's index for June will be released today at 10am EST. The June indicator is expected to show a slight gain after the number of housing permits rose. May indicators spiked 1.2 percent, topping the 1.1 percent jump in April that ended a long run of declines.

<strong>Federal minimum wage to rise this week</strong><br /> The federal minimum wage goes up to $7.25 from $6.55 on Friday July 24. About 4.5 million workers will see their hourly wages boosted.

<strong>Dennis Lockhart gives speech on economic outlook</strong><br />Atlanta Federal reserve bank president Dennis Lockhart will speak today at 1:30pm to the Rotary Club of Nashville on the economic outlook.
