Daikin Announces Company Reorganization.


NOVATO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1999--

Daikin U.S. Comtec Laboratories, the world leader in DVD Authoring, announces a reorganization of the company aimed at streamlining and improving its operations and better serving its partners and customers.

Daikin U.S. remains the center of R&D with its primary emphasis being New Product Development. Maintenance and upgrading of existing products as well as Product Development will be a function of the Japanese office.

Marketing, Sales, Corporate Relations and Technical Support at Daikin U.S. is being strengthened in order to better meet the market demands of our partners in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

The objective of this reorganization is to ensure that Daikin remains the leader in the DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.
