Sonazoid, which is developed in close collaboration with GE Healthcare GE Healthcare is a $18 billion (USD) unit of General Electric (GE). It employs more than 46,000 people worldwide and is headquartered in Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. GE Healthcare is the first GE business segment headquartered outside the United States. , the licensor, is a minimally invasive contrast medium characterized by prolonged ability to maintain its contrasting attributes.

Sonazoid promises to contribute to improving differential and presence diagnosis in diagnosing lesions associated with hepatic hepatic /he·pat·ic/ (he-pat´ik) pertaining to the liver.
