Daiichi Pharmaceutical Acquires Daiichi Suntory Pharma As Wholly Owned Subsidiary.


Tokyo, Japan, Sept 16, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Daiichi Pharmaceutical acquired Daiichi Suntory Pharma, a joint venture it had created with Suntory in December 2002, as a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners.
