Daiichi Pharmaceutical, GE Healthcare to Collaborate in R&D for Contrast Media.


Tokyo, Japan, Sept 13, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Daiichi Pharmaceutical announced on September 12 that it has signed a research and development agreement with GE Healthcare GE Healthcare is a $18 billion (USD) unit of General Electric (GE). It employs more than 46,000 people worldwide and is headquartered in Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. GE Healthcare is the first GE business segment headquartered outside the United States. . From now on, the two companies will strive to develop innovative contrast media (excluding ones for radioisotope radioisotope: see radioactive isotope.
