Dai Nippon to Launch Biomass Packaging Material Using Plant-generated Plastic.Tokyo, Japan, Oct 2, 2006 - (JCN JCN Japan Corporate News JCN Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience JCN Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing JCN Journal of Christian Nursing JCN Job Control Number JCN Journal of Child Neurology JCN joint communications network (US DoD) ) - Dai Nippon Printing Dai Nippon Printing (大日本印刷 Dai Nippon Insatsu Co. today released two kinds of eco-friendly biomass packaging material using plant-generated plastic: a material derived from polylactic acid polylactic acid /poly·lac·tic ac·id/ (-lak´tik) a hydrophobic hydroxy acid polymer that is formed into granules and used as a surgical dressing for dental extraction sites. with petroleum and another material derived from polylactic acid with biodegradable petroleum. Both materials, which are 10-30% plant-derived, have obtained JORA JORA Journal of Religion and Abuse certification, an acknowledged biomass mark. The biomass materials will be displayed at Tokyo Pack 2006 from October 3-7. Going forward, Dai Nippon aims to produce 50% plant-derived packaging material in the future.
